Students have virtual access to their classwork and grades through Google Classroom. They can use this to submit completed assignments, ask questions by commenting on assignments, and share their work with me.
While Google Classroom is designed to work seamlessly with Chromebooks, students can access Google Classroom using any device connected to the internet. This saves on paper and time for everyone, allowing students to submit work digitally from school, home, or anywhere. I can then return work to them with any suggestions, corrections, and grades.
Students can log in using their Carroll Catholic email address and work at their own pace in the classroom. I can use Google Classroom to silently modify assignments to meet the needs of each individual child and give them feedback without being overheard by the rest of the class.
Google Classroom is now used by Lincoln Community High School and many other school districts across the country in elementary, secondary, and higher education systems. Using this technology in the classroom helps to keep students involved with the latest trends in technology and education. If there are any questions when working with Google Classroom, students can ask me directly, contact me on Google Hangouts, or send me an email.
